Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Josiah was exposed from an early age to a musical heritage that lives on in him and the Twin Cities.  He learned to play the drums at five years old and in the coming years taught himself to play bass, ukulele, guitar, and piano.  Most of his songs are written on guitar, but he likes to utilize lots of various instruments and sounds when the moment calls for it.

 More recently, songwriting has taken over his life and he loves to spend his time writing music late at night in his bedroom. When he’s not losing sleep over melodies, you can find him hanging out with his friends, banging chains (Cool Guy Disc Golf Lingo), or at Chick-fil-A.

Josiah aims to create music that brings people together, no matter when or where they listen. As long as people have a great experience, especially at his live shows, that is all he needs to continue writing and sharing his music.
